Memorial

This is another memorial at the Stonehenge site, to the soldiers of the area who have died in various wars. Very nice, very respectful. The Vietnam POW/MIA wreath looks like it was out here on Memorial Day.

These are lovely memorials to fallen soldiers. And every name left here also represents a hole left in the lives of their families and friends, in addition to the loss of the individual lives. Memorials also do not show the continuing sacrifices made by soldiers and their families who return from war. So much is lost and so many people are destroyed when politicians decide to wage war - all the sacrifices should be remembered and considered before making these decisions.

It is very good to have these places, where people can be reminded.
