Another beautiful campsite! This campground is very far off the highway. A small squirrel is hanging on the tree next to me, chirping rapidly at me - apparently trying to get some of my dinner, though I have assured him I'm not handing over anything. (It's always a mistake to feed rats, even with cute furry tails.) On the drive in, a momma deer wandered across the road in front of me; as I was getting ready to drive on, her baby came charging by! It was too cute, and I snapped several photos. It was not nearly scared enough of the Jeep, and seemed pretty small for so late in the summer. Hopefully it makes it through the winter.
I'm very annoyed that in this big, full campground, they have unlocked ONE toilet for everyone to share. There are six other doors, presumably other bathrooms, that are locked. Thumbs down.
