Very good to be back in the muddy green forest! I saw several froggie friends, some downed trees after a recent storm, and about a million mosquitoes. One definite advantage Las Vegas had was the lack of mosquitoes; this has been a terrible year for them. And I'm running around covered in DEET, I can hardly imagine what it was like for the Lewis and Clark expedition! They complained a lot, and I'm sure it was awful. A massive thanks to scientific achievement for this!
